Advancing in corporate as Black women is more than having your degrees or your education.
It IS about your personal brand, how you show up, how you drive results, and most importantly, whether you have advocates and sponsors CALLING your name out in a room full of opportunities.
Black Women are the most educated demographic in the US, yet, the stats are grim when it comes to our ability to advance to higher level positions in the corporate arena.
And if your OWN experiences or the experiences of other Black women you know are not enough to confirm that we need parity in senior leadership, consider these data (LeanIn.Org and McKinsey & Company, Women in the Workplace report):
Only 21% of C-suite leaders are women, only 4% are women of color, and only 1% are Black women
For every 100 men hired into manager roles, only 64 Black women are hired
40% of Black women say they need to provide more evidence of their competence, compared to 28% of white women and 14% of men

A 12 week leadership accelerator for Black women emerging executives- people leaders who are at the director level and above in their companies.
EXCEL Collectives: Our group coaching sessions take place every other week, in 2 hour sessions called EXCEL Collectives.
Each session focuses on a different leadership competency and workplace challenge.
We cultivate a community of like-minded peers, engage in professional development, training, networking all within an empowering space.
EXCEL Hours: We meet every other week, in 1 hour sessions called EXCEL Hours, in the alternating weeks when there is no Group Coaching session.
One week will be the EXCEL Collective Group Coaching session and the next week will be the EXCEL Hours, and we’ll alternate in this fashion for the duration of the Program.
Coaching and Mentoring Framework: LeadAmplifyEXCEL® is the foundational approach used for our discussions, and includes leadership competencies critical for success as an emerging executive in corporate environments.
Accountability – each person will be paired with a cohort peer for additional accountability and goal implementation (2 people per accountability cohort).
Leadership assessments.
Resume review and interview coaching.
Coaches, Mentors and Advisors are a big component of the Collective, and you will learn as much from them as you will from our Creator. And, we all have the same goal: to help you LEAD differently, AMPLIFY your brand and EXCEL in the workplace !
